Getting -105 juice on every game is very hard to do and practically impossible over the longhaul, but for the sake of this article, we will say that you got -105 juice on 25% of your bets. This would add 4 units to your monthly profit, which is a more reasonable profit. Now that you see how line shopping can add to your bankroll by finding the best juice, let’s take a look at another way of adding to your profits.
Finding the best spread
Finding the juiciest spread for a game by shopping through the online sportsbooks is relatively simple. You can check out a sports betting odds page, which updates every minute with spread changes. By shopping for the best spread available you will be able to turn 3-5 losing bets per month into winners or ties! From our example above, the bettor went 66-54. Now, if they had line shopped for the best spread available, they would have a record that would be around 69-49-2. This would equate to a profit of 45.3 units! The bettor more than doubled their profits for the month because they found spreads that gave them the best chance to win.
