Exchange Betting

Exchange betting has surfaced in the past two years as a very popular way to reduce the juice in your betting. Unlike regular sports betting, which takes place between a sportsbook and a player, exchange betting takes place between two bettors and the exchange.

The basic idea of exchange betting, is that a bettor will post a bet that they are looking to place on an exchange, and someone will accept the other side of it. When this happens the money is then taken by the exchange until the game is over, and then it is paid back out.

Many sports bettors who are serious about betting utilize betting exchanges, along with using reduced juice sportsbooks. Exchanges seem to have the mst effect in a sport like baseball where there are a large number of games, and getting the best price over the length of the season will definitely help your profit. We do not recommend exchange betting for recreational bettors, since it requires more work to use an exchange over a sportsbook.
